Michael Sinclaire lives and teaches elementary school in Terra Linda, California. He is a parent of two teenagers, a husband, musician, and an avid outdoor adventurer.
Michael studied religion at Colorado College, spending a semester in Bodh Gaya, India, where he first began practicing mindfulness in the Buddhist tradition and eventually ordained as a monk.
A classroom teacher of 25 years, he has been trained to teach mindfulness in schools and has offered mindfulness to children in the school context for a decade. He is currently training with the Mindfulness Training Institute to teach to the broader community.
Whether surfing the waves at Ocean Beach, bathing in the forested trails of Marin County on a mountain bike, or cooking dinner for his family, embodied mindfulness practice lives at the core of his experience.
